The Massachusetts School of Information Technology has provided Microsoft Exams for more than 12 years. The testing environment is comfortable and friendly. Most Mass Info Tech students pass their certifications exams on the first attempt.

Student Conduct Expectations

Mass Info Tech students are to conduct themselves in a manner that does not disrupt or interfere with the learning of fellow students or with the orderly operation of the school. 

If staff observes a prohibited behavior, they will give one warning to stop and will dismiss the student for the day on the second instance.

Behaviors which are prohibited on campus include but are not limited to the list below:

  1. Being late
  2. Being late again
  3. Personal/private conversations during class
  4. Throwing anything
  5. Profanity/swearing
  6. Putting feet on furniture/walls
  7. Leaning back on two legs only of chairs
  8. Moving about the room in rolling chairs
  9. Eating food in the classroom
  10. Talking/texting on a cell phone
  11. Sleeping or putting head down
  12. Spitting
  13. Horseplay/physical contact/roughhousing
  14. Cell phone seen or heard by instructor during class period  *
  15. Presents as being under the influence of drugs or alcohol  **

If students do not leave upon the staff direction, they will be automatically suspended for one week and may be terminated from the program.

 

* Cell phones should be neither seen nor heard during class. Student may use their cell phones on campus during lunch break time with staff permission.

 

** If students appear as being “under the influence" they will obviously not be warned, but simply dismissed for the day, and parents will be notified if student is under 18 years of age.
