Mr. Kevin Shea, Executive Director - Mayors Office of Economic Development.

Mr.Shea represents Mayor Nunes on the Boards of the Heart of Taunton
the Taunton Redevelopment Authority and several other community entities
with an interest in strengthening Taunton and her neighborhoods.
He joined the Taunton economic development team in 2005 and went right
to work. Today, Mr. Shea is coordinating the City of Taunton interests in
several new building projects around the Taunton Green. Including,
the new Morton Hospital Medical building, a 5 Story new construction
project on the former Barons Brothers site, a new condominium
development on the former site of Taunton Greens historic Sealy building,
and a new condominium development being built by Taunton's Dorsey family.

Mr. Shea has a 30 year career in municipal economic development. He was
most recently been the Economic Development Director for the Town of
Barnstable for 5 years, spent 9 years as Executive Director of the Pawtucket
Redevelopment Authority, and 6 years as the Quincy City Planner.
Early in his career he served in community development positions in
Chelsea and New Bedford.

Mr. Shea is a life long resident of the South Coast, he has a wife and
two daughters. Mr. Shea earned a BA in Urban and Political Studies
from Canisius College, Buffalo NY, and a Masters Degree in Urban
Affairs from Boston University.
